3 Methods for Putting Child in an SSC Back Carry

Check out our new video that shows three great methods for putting your child on your back in an SSC (soft structured carrier) or buckle carrier! Ideally your child should be sitting up unassisted and should fit in your carrier without modifying it in any way before you attempt a back carry. We also recommend that you’re already skilled at front carries and/or hip carries in your buckle carrier. If it’s your first time trying a back carry in your SSC, it’s safest to use a spotter or practice over a safe surface.

Please feel free to come to one of our meetings for some hands on help as well! We are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have! You can find meeting information by following us on Facebook and/or requesting to join our Facebook group, linked below!
